*Cashback offer is valid for members who have a MetroWest Community Federal Credit Union Visa or Mastercard. Credit card holders must be in good standing in order to be automatically enrolled into the cashback rewards program. Credit card holders must also be in good standing in order to have their cashback rewards credited to their account; those who are not in good standing will not have their cashback rewards credited unless they achieve good standing status by the next distribution cycle.
Rewards Program FAQs
Q: What are the cashback rewards?
A: The cashback rewards are a statement credit. A statement credit is money that is credited back to your credit card account.
Q: How will my rewards be calculated?
A: Cashback rewards will be calculated as a percentage (1%) of net purchases minus returns made during a statement cycle, starting June 1st, 2021.
Q: When will my cashback rewards be credited to my account?
A: Cashback rewards will be credited quarterly or every 3 months, starting September 1st, 2021. (Since the program is launching on June 1st, 2021, the first cashback rewards payout will be on September 1st, 2021 for the rewards earned during the months of June, July and August.)
Q: How come I didn't get my rewards credited to my account?
A: Members who are 30 days or more past due on their bill will not be credited any cashback rewards they have earned. In order to receive their rewards, members must bring their account up to date by the next distribution cycle. Ex. If you are 30 days or more past due on June 1st, you will not receive a rewards credit unless you bring your account up to date by September 1st.
Q: What happens if I earn more cashback rewards than what I owe on my bill?
A: If you accumulate more credits than charges, you will still get your rewards credited to you, your account will just display a negative balance. Ex. Cardholder charges $5.00, but earns $7.00 in rewards, your account will read -$2.00.
